Hey guys, there are not going to be any planned rides over the winter time, due to severe weather. All the rides we do will be very spontaneous! Stay tuned for more info!
Weekly Sunday skate sessions start this week. July 3rd will be the first official weekly skate session. We will meet every Sunday night at 9:30pm. Meet up location is at the Melthouse, 2111 n. Pennsylvania st. Indianapolis, IN 46202. All ages are welcome. A helmet and light are recommended. We will be skating through downtown Indianapolis with traffic, although Sunday nights, the traffic is very light. Be ready to skate at least 8-10 miles.
Hey all, sorry I have been slow on the updates.
We set out on the morning of the 16th to begin this ride. We had to do it a week early because we had a schedule conflict the week of the 23rd. Once we left the city, we had a support vehicle and everything, so that no one would get hurt. We got yelled at and sworn at by passing vehicles. To top it all off, we got about 40 miles out of the city when a Sheriff stopped us on the ride and wouldn’t let us continue further. He claimed that it is illegal to ride “Human-powered transportation” on state roads.
We decided to head back and reorganize.
Thank you everyone for your support. This has been very frustrating for all of us.
We should have some decent press coverage going out, I’ll keep you all updated on that.
Downtown has the best pavement to surf. Has anyone been on the new cultural trail? It’s pretty awesome.
You’ve all been waiting for it. Here is our second night ride caught on film. Classic line “DUDE, LET’S PUMP IN CIRCLES!”
I’d like to take this time to commend Garrett for his mad web skills. This site is awesome its more professional than most professional websites, this thunder is very loud i am glad i’m on a laptop so i wont lose power, in conclusion Garrett is BA.
